Hanu Raghavpudi impressed everyone with his first outing “Andhala Rakshashi”. The way he delivers love stories, it is always a pleasure to watch on screen. Seetha Ramam has some beautiful love scenes and scintillating scenes which will surely remind us of some Mani Ratnam movies, as the director himself is a huge fan of the film legend Mani Ratnam. The first half of the film starts off interestingly and gradually develops the story that happened in the past and engages the audience with some beautiful songs and love scenes. However, the film feels a bit stretched in the latter half and many unwanted elements will ruin our experience in the first half.
The interval block will certainly leave the audience excited about how the latter half will proceed, but the excitement that has been created will not be stagnant as the scenes in the second half tend to look a bit up-and-down, with some uninteresting and unwanted inclusions that feed the soul of the film. do spoil. , When it comes to the overall narration and construction of the film, it looks much better than the previous films of the director, who always falters in handling the second half of the film.
Emotions are the key to this romantic drama and the film is successful in setting the emotions in the right place which can connect with the audience.
Dulquer Salmaan as Ram is worth watching on screen. He excels in every role that is given to him, and we only see the character forgetting the actor. Mrunal Thakur looks beautiful and she has also acted well in some scenes. Rashmika Mandanna has limited screen time and is not that impressive with her performance. Glad to see Sumanth playing a role that gets wasted in many films though the actor has the ability to act. Bhumika Chawla, Tharun Bhaskar, Vennala Kishore and other actors played their roles well for the proceedings of the story.
While technically Sita Ramam looks stunning, Vyjayanthi Movies is known for its grandeur. We can see that the producers have spent enough money to bring out the best output from the director and the production values are high. The visuals in the film are stunning, PS Vinod and Shreyas Krishna have done a splendid job in capturing some beautiful locations and the art department is to be commended for recreating the aura of the 1960s. The music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar is soulful. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has mostly been successful in presenting us a beautiful love story this time around, with very few fluctuations in the narration.
